These boots are a true wide! I've been wearing work boots for 32 years, and I've never had a boot that I didn't have to stretch the crap out of. My feet are wide. After a boot is fully broke in my pinky toe hangs over the side of the sole. People with wide feet know the moment they stick their fat foot in a boot, before it's even laced up, how tight and long it'll probably take to break it in. The moment I put my fat foot in these I knew this was the widest boot I've ever had. I was happy! I hate breaking in and stretching out boots. The only true "wide" shoes I've ever had were my Skechers tennis shoes. They are really wide!I laced them up and wore them tonight for over 4 hours to help break them in. It's Friday and I don't want to go to work Monday and suffer for most of the day trying to stretch out my boots, like I've done so many times in the past. I have to say that my feet didn't come close to hurting once. These boots are great! They really are true to size. Both in length and definitely width. The toe space seems very large. My big toes weren't rubbing at all. Very happy about that! I've had boots in the past that rubbed so hard I'd wear a hole in brand new socks in 9 hours. That sucked! After 4 hours of wearing my new boots my feet didn't hurt at all and I wasn't in a hurry to take them off either. I highly recommend these for those of us with fat feet.
