We typically purchase a large tarp cover for a single season use. After installing it, I feel it should give me a second season maybe more. As long as you pump water off and don’t let it accumulate more than several inches you’re fine. This is what got me in the past and from the weight caused rips. I have no complaints with this cover and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper than purchasing a loop lock. Plus you get sparkling clean water when you open. It’s a steal at around $120 as opposed to pool companies that wanted to charge me $375.
