I purchased a CoverSeal for my large grill about a year ago. Because of the weighted bottom, it tends to be a little awkward when covering and uncovering the grill. But that minor inconvenience was nothing compared to its benefits—because it really did the trick! We live in a rural area with plenty of rodents, and I haven’t had to chase away mice or remove any nests with all their acorn shells and other nasty stuff since using the CoverSeal. And despite many periods of high winter and spring winds, it never once blew off the grill (although the grill itself moved a few times!).We use our grill year-round, so the cover went on and off 50-75 times during the past year. It sits in the sun for much of the day. And in the winter, we had to shovel snow from around it. That all took its toll on the lower part of the cover which began to crack near the end of winter. The worst part was that the sand at the bottom (which weighs down the cover) began to seep from several locations. Duct tape was helpful for a while. But by late spring, it had lost a lot of sand. So, I recently considered purchasing another. When I went to the CoverSeal website, I discovered that the cover had a one-year warranty, so I called the company to tell them about the fabric wear and the sand leakage. I’d barely said a word when they offered to replace it with an updated version that hopefully will better withstand the elements. It arrived a couple of days ago and it seems like the new material is more rugged—and it is a black bottom, which even looks nicer.I would have given the product 4 stars due to poor wear, but the fact that I didn’t have to deal with rodents all year was worth more than 5 stars. And because of the excellent customer service and the knowledge that this company is continuously improving its product(s), I simply had to give it 5 stars. It is no doubt an expensive cover, but if I had to buy one every 2-3 years, I’m quite certain I would! This is a product that works; moreover, the company itself is clearly a reputable one.
